Job Details

This role is varied and no day will be quite the same – which is what makes this position very exciting! Our laboratory technician team work with all scientific colleagues and the Operations Department at Ingenza to effectively and efficiently manage many different aspects of the day to day running of the laboratories. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks within the Ingenza laboratories:

  • Preparing media and solutions according to specific instructions
  • Maintaining stock and ordering of materials to ensure efficient lab operations
  • Receiving and distributing deliveries of materials
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Monitor and manage waste streams and glassware
  • Monitoring and maintaining laboratory equipment
  • Work synergistically with the Operations Department and the scientific team to ensure smooth lab operations and project delivery

The candidate will have / be:

  • Qualifications: Maths and English at National 5 Level

  • Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
